You can ask whatever you want for something. But that doesnt mean you will get it. I know a guy who has a single D on ebay for $1200

seams like a crazy asking price to me, they are asking 1500 for the distributor and 2500 fro the carb, but to the right person with the right wallet.... who knows - asking is almost always different than the selling price

I've seen other listings like this. They are advertising really high. Someone might be crazy and buy it. They want you contact them and sell outside eBay so they don't lose a bunch of money for ebay and paypal fees. If you asked what the "local" price would be, I'll bet it is cheaper.

I find it interesting that the ad heading says NOS heads and when you read it they are used, rebuilt heads that are "as close to NOS as you can get". seems a little misleading to me.

NOS = New Old Stock.... a brand new part that's never been used but may have been sitting around for many years. Often they have the original box to show it's an old factory GM item not a reproduction part.

X2. Check back with Ebay after this auction closes. They will not sell at that price.

i could see paying 1200 at the most for both sides i think. is that reasonable you guys think or too much still or not enough?

trying to budget this stuff and seeing what it is going to cost me. but if people want that much i will stick with the b or c heads i have lol.

Better plan on sticking with your heads, if you see a set of D,F, or H heads for less than 4500 buy 'em..

D-heads can be had for $2500.00-$3000.00 for a nice pair.
NOS means never used. Some people have a hard time understanding that.If it's used,it's used.
I have an NOS F-head,in the GM packaging. It's not going anywhere. I also had an NOS B-head,in the same type of GM packaging.
