Digging through some parts and found some cylinder heads.

E heads 403686,298 what can someone tell me about these?
C heads 394548,230 what can someone tell me about these?

Any info appreciated.
Thanks!

They could be either small valve (intake) or large valve. I can't see the difference with my eye but the small is 1.99" and the large 2.07" with a mic. If the C's are from 1967 there will be a code stamped into the front of one head. That code will tell what the original application was the heads came on. If there's no code then they are either 1968 or 69 like Harv said. I don't think there's a way to tell which of the two years.

The first six numbers you posted are the casting number that matched up with the casting letter. The final three numbers are the date code, the 298th day of the year for the E's. I believe its common for the date codes to not match exactly as they were pulling parts out of bins along the assembly line.
