Cylinder heads

Sure its been asked plenty of times. What heads are best for a 455 ? Only really want around 400 hp. Will machined stock heads be good our do I have to fork out 1500+ for aftermarket? And are the offenhauser intakes good?

Stock castings, the right cam, 9.5:1 or a little better, and a Performer will get you headed in the right direction.

I would look for some c 's or A's . There are a few c's floating around the for sale
section that are rebuilt and ready to go from the add.
