crankcase air breather and PCV
crankcase air breather and PCV
72 olds cutlass supreme convertible in which I swapped the 350 for a 455.
As far as hooking up my PCV Valve/Air Breather I am having the following problems:
1. The Crankcase air breather that goes inside the air cleaner I ordered out of catalog will not fit through hole in air cleaner.
2. I have aftermarket chrome valve covers and the grommets in the parts catalog will not hook up.
3. I am lost to where the 2 vacuum lines under the fin of the air cleaner hook too.
4. Lastly, im just confused on the whole set up as to which side I hook PCV valve and crankcase filter too. Also is the 350 air cleaner different than the 455????
Thanks for any insight.

Can you post pictures of the valve covers and the air cleaner/s? Basically you need a pcv hooked to manifold vacuum in one valve cover and a breather in the other. While its nice to have the breather connected to the air cleaner its not required.
