Connecting rods question
The person who I bought my engine from took it apart with out marking any of the connecting rods. He also just never put the rod caps back on the rods. Would it be more worth it to replace all of the rods or have them line bored to make sure they are all straight?

I had this happen once. You can figure out which cap goes were. The rods are made in one piece, and then cut, so you need to look real careful, and you can see what cap goes with each rod. The machining marks need to aline. About have will be real easy, then 2 may take a little more time and the last two may be hard to tell. I had the machine shop guy check me out, and he said I had them right. Also you will want to have them checked and sized. It's like a puzzle, have fun.
