Carb bolts....

Hi, can somebody confirm that the 2 front carburetor bolt on a stock 70 455 intake goes all the way in the plenum ? Casting #404521

On the 1970 404521 cast iron intake the two holes on the drivers side are blind. The two holes on the passenger side go into the plenum.

Ok thanks a lot v8al, will seal these 2 because believe it or not, I have a vaccum leak (a good one) under the passenger side front bolt and didn't want to remove the carb to explore.

Glad you found that leak. The other one to watch out for is one of the two bolts that is used for the carburetor dash pot goes through to the plenum also.
