c heads

c heads

I was given a set of C heads. they are bear, I was going to put them on craigs list but want to make sure on my list price. is 120 dollars to little or to much? I have some descent G heads but NEED headers as I have 85 307 ones on now. Thanks for your help

would think they would be worth more than $30 but i don't know. i thought i seen a set of small valve Cs go for $150 a while back. they were cores. if it is a core i would consider it as bare. i am not the expert on this so you will need someone else to give there input also.

Depends on supply and demand bare heads means someone has to buy valves, springs, retainers, seals, rockers, etc. Complete big valve C heads complete go for around $150.00 to $200.00 in this area. Might be able to get $50.00 for small valve or 75.00 to 100.00 for bare large valve bare heads.

I agree with Pat. Price them accordingly and to the market. Good luck in selling them though, hoping someone will be able to use them.

Thanks a lot for the help. is anyone running the Edelbrock heads? If so how would you rate them? or even rate them to C heads?

I run the Edelbrock heads on my 455 and like them a lot for the following because I run 10:5.1 compression with no problem on pump gas, the weigh less then steel heads, and run cooler. My heads have been ported as well.
