Buying Edelbrock heads.

I have decided on Edelbrocks for my 455 build. I have been looking around for a used set, but I wanted some opinions from those who have experience with these heads. Is buying used a wise choice? I like how many of the used ones, I have seen, come with rockers. Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to respond.

I would go with new. The savings you get from used just isnt worth if especially if there is something wrong with them that you cant tell by the naked eye. New are warrantied and you know they are good to go, short of maybe a trueing up mill job they are awesome right out of the box.

They are good stuff either way you go...if I had to do it all over again I would get a used set and have them ported. I made 492 HP with a set right out of the box...I can't wait till I have to take them off again, I'm gonna have them ported and try to make it 592 HP lol!
