Best Way to Clean Aluminum Intake on Car?

Hi Guys,

What's the best way top clean an aluminum intake while it's still on the car? I really don't want to take it off just to clean it........so what works?

thanks,
bob

I've used aluminum mag cleaner with decent results. In the car I'd cover fenders and such with covers as to not damage paint. Low pressure water rinse will be somewhat better than the splash from a spray nozzle.
Have a brush ready if needed.
Probably lots to find if you Google it.
Good luck. pics?

I've found that a spray bottle filled with Simple Green and an old toothbrush do wonders. Use that a a few shop rags and you will have it clean in no time.
