Best Rocker System That Fits Under Stock Valve Cover

Looking for opinions on what is the best rocker system system to use that will still fit under Stock OEM notched balve Covers with the baffles. Thanks!

Define "best"? If you're on stock heads, then the 5/16" stud hole is a definite concern. You won't get a girdle or a shaft mount system under a stock cover.
It's usually not the rockers that cause problems - it's the polylocks. I have the Harland Sharp 5016's with shorty poly locks, a 3/8" valve cover spacer from Rocket Racing and a thick metal core gasket with the later Olds script covers which are much smaller in the corners than the earlier covers. Fits under the A/C bracket.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I will be using stock “c” heads. Mainly wondering if using stock valve covers am I stuck to using just a stock type rocker system or is there any other recommended rocker systems that I should/could go to that would be better but still use the stock valve cover. Thanks.

They do sell stock arm with a 1.6 ratio. Take a look at this link

Roller rockers fit under stock height valve covers. You have to use short poly locks and thick valve cover gasket, like this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/32379678718...m=323796787188

I bought some 3/8 thick aluminum spacers to fit Harlan Sharp rockers on Edelbrock heads. The stock valve covers fit and clear the rockers with room to spare.

Yup, pick your favorite setup. The comp roller-tip setup is perfectly fine for most builds. The pushrods and pinchnuts are junk, but they come with the right adapter studs and they're strong enough for typical valve springs.
If you want to move to a full roller, then bear in mind the hole in the head is 5/16". The only true Olds rocker is the Harland Sharp 5016 (and 5017). All the others are actually a Ford rocker which is very similar.
You'll need to get 1" polylocks. Also one or two adjustable pushrods as you'll almost certainly need a custom pushrod length. Do NOT just slap together stuff out of a kit and run it! Check the rocker sweep! You only need to do that on one cylinder. The "check all 4 corners" approach is pretty paranoid.

Do you need different rockers? I have found stockers to work well even at over .6" lift if the slots are elongated, and up to about 370 lb. open spring pressure. Until recently, NHRA stockers had to run stock rockers and they run over 500 lb. open with stock lift.

Or just drill four holes in each valve cover bafffle just large enough for the poly-lock to poke through. Easy. Doesn't seem to allow oil into the baffle area (no increase in oil burning via PCV.)

Clean out the metal chips from the baffle before use.

All factory Oldsmobile rockers are 1.6:1 ratio.

Ford 1.6 or 1.7 pedestal mount roller rockers have the same dimensions as out stuff. E351 is the 1.7 rocker, and I can't remember the part number for the 1.6s. You can find 'em used all over the place. Otherwise, Scorpion is always a good start. If you're gonna go the Ford route, don't use Proform. Just use Ford Motorsport and NOT the Crane Cams 1.7's that came on the 93-95 Cobras with the Ford PN unless you're using longer stemmed valves
