ARP Rocker Stud Torque Spec (3/8" stud/5/16" bottom thread)

Hello everyone, can someone tell me what the Torque Spec is for the ARP Rocker studs with the stock 5/16" size bottom thread? I can't even seem to find the studs anymore, maybe ARP quit making them. They were already in the 455 when I recieved it. I just need to know the Torque spec for them. Thanks

When I searched around for torque specs, the only torque spec for a 5/16" Comp Cams rocker stud I found was for a Ford, and they said the specs was 30 lb ft., so figuring they would be similar, thats what we did with ours, with a little blue locktite.

You can look up the part number for the stud kit on the ARP web site and then find the instructions, also on the ARP web site. Or call ARP and ask, they are decent on tech support.

Yeah, thats what I was going to do, until I discovered ARP must not offer those studs anymore. Have no idea what the part number was, as they were already on the engine when I got it.
