Is the 1970 air cleaner assembly on a Cutlass SX W32 the same as a 442 ?

Could you order a ram air hood with OAI on a 1970 W32 ?

 

Yes it's the same.

 

70 olds 442 brochure shows Ram air hood was available on 442 and Cutlass S 4 barrel models. You would think it would be available on SX too? Who knows about special orders and dealer installs. At this point in time do what makes you happy.,

 

Despite the fact that every Supreme has a repro W25 hood today, the Factory Installed Optional Equipment listing for dealers dated Sept 18, 1969 shows RPO W25 as not available for any Cutlass Supreme model, however W27 IS shown as available on Supremes with W32.

 

Here's the same document as revised on Feb 6, 1970. RPO W25 is shown as only available on Cutlass Supreme convertibles (4267 cars) with RPO Y74 Indy Pace Car package.
