i have a 76 455. the big hose on the air cleaner goes to the valve cover. where does the small (1/4 inch or smaller I.D.) go? i cant find any ports that are missing anything.

 

If that goes to the air temperature sensor that connects to the snorkle damper, then it should connect to a manifold vacuum source. It could be a fitting on the intake or a T or Y or l connector already on another hose.
