Hey Scooter,
The 350 and 455 will take 5 quarts. A litre is .947 qt. So if you put 5 litres, you'll be fine. 5 litres = 4.7 quarts. The best way to check is your dipstick after an oil change. Olds recommended to just keep the oil between the 'full' and 'add' marks.

Here is the 71 CSM section that has capacities listed on page 0-15. Just use the US quarts column, not the 'Imperial' one. Back in the old days Imperial was the Canadian measure and as you can see it's not the same as today's litres. http://wildaboutcarsonline.com/membe..._Section_0.pdf

Olds motors do NOT take litres of oil (or use metric fasteners)!

They take quarts, which may or may not be in bottles that were mislabeled for the foreign market .

Touche' Funny thing though is the cars exported worldwide coped just fine using those Litres of oil that were produced abroad and labelled correctly in the country of manufacture.

Yes, but ONLY if the mechanic taped over the "NET CONTENTS" part of the label before the car could see it .
