455 teardown

Tore my 71 455 down today. The engine is out of a delta 88 convertible. I got it as a short block and was impressed with the almost nonexistent ridge in the bores! Not sure who owned this car/engine but damn was it full of sludge! The valley was caked with baked on sludge and it was just all over! Upon breakdown I was suprised the main and rod bearings weren't all worn out! Anyone find one like this?

The bearings weren't worn through but they were kind of pitted. The piston skirts were a bit worn as well but the bores looked good.
