455 exhaust manifold sheet metal

I am installing a 455 in my 69 vert using W and Z manifolds for dual exhaust. Do I need to use the heat deflector sheet metal around the manifolds and around the starter ?

Any input would be much appreciated

Do you have them? If so, why would you not want to use them?

I do have the shield for the starter. I also have a shield from a T manifold which looks like it lines up pretty well for the passenger side .

Is there more to gain by installing the shield on the passenger side than just the heat riser ?

I have read on here about starting issues related to heat build up from not using the starter shield.

Will a stock starter shield from a 350 will work on a 455 ? And can it be bolted up just by removing the starter ?

BTW the motor is in the car with the manifolds bolted up
