Hi all.

I am new here. I am also a new 1970 442 W-30 owner.

As I said I just acquired the vehicle and plan on a complete restoration. While the car is now in very good condition I plan to restore it to show condition over the next few years.

I want to start with engine and trans. I am looking to find a highly qualified, and preferrably Olds specialist, to do the work for me. I have one lead from a member already (but the shop is not an Olds specialist), but would greatly appreciate any other recommendations for top notch shops.

i have no experience with him but has built some very good oldsmobile engines. he is in NJ also. jack merkel performance engines, 1-732-388-7088 he is in clark NJ
