Don't close the hood too hard after you add the oil. Nice looking motor!

Wow looks nice in there ,not much room between your driver side valve cover and the brake booster ?Do those chrome valve covers have the notch in them?

There's plenty of room, I can at least fit a dime between them No notch in them, they had to be tall to fit the roller rockers. They are a cheepy set, I think around $35 bucks. I don't know if I need then quiet so high but they are good enough for now.

That's a lot of engine. What products went into its build? Feel free to elaborate for us.

Who built it? I like the smooth firewall, that's on my list when (if) I ever get the car re-sprayed.

Don't want to get too much into your business but do you have ballpark figure on the total build cost?

Thanks

Well that would be a big ballpark around 7k. I had a bunch of parts to do the build, but unfortunately I wasn't able to use them so I had to buy new. I had a set of .30 pistons but my block had already been cut (which I didn't know) so I had to go with .40 over. The roller rockers I had didn't work either, the heads were in good shape, they just needed to be freshened up, etc etc etc. It of course snowballed from there. All the little things added up in the end to make a big thing

Thank you for the info. I like to gauge my engine packages with others to make sure I offer a competitive build.

Best of luck!

New engine pics, video coming soon! Gages on manifold are temporary. Still have to straighten out the plug wires and vacuum line.

Man, x2 ...it looks great!
The tranny lines look really close to the header pipe...on my 70, I brought them above them to prevent them from rubbing....
I assume the brake booster vacume line is a hose and not a steel line..
Just some thoughts....

Looking forward to vid
