455 1971 Connection Rod Question

Hello Oldsmobile Guy's

i have a problem with my Engine and need please help. My first Engine Builder is for long time Sick, and i have a other Old Guy for my Engine. Problem is, the Engine worker is no sure is the correct Position for the Connection Rods.

All Connection Rods have one nose and 6 a little hole for the Camshaft ?

It is my first Oldsmobile Engine, and here is everythink deferent :-)

Funny is, the Connection Rod number 1 and 6 have no hole and the rest have holes ( is for Camshaft oil ? )

I have a Picture, and the ask is, is that correct or not ??? And why have the RC one and six no hole ???

And sorry for my bad english

Andy

The spit hole sends oil to the cylinder on the opposite bank. Olds discontinued using those holes about 1972.
