394 fans

Hello. Not been able to work on my 1964 Olds super 88 for awhile. and I know this question has been asked before I am sure. I have three fans 1- is the 4 blade and 1 is a 5 blade clutch fan and the last 1 is a 6 blade clutch fan. I was wondering what one would be best to run on my 394 with A/C. Thank You!

I would run the 6 blade if it fits in the shroud properly.

That's was what I was checking. I thought the 4 blade was for a non A/C if I was thinking right. It's always good to ask someone else. Thank You!

i have a 5 blade fan on mine, should be same 394 and practically same radiator/shroud. mines pretty old and the little dust cover for the clutch bearing area came loose but i stuffed it with a little lithium grease so it works for now. it keeps the car pretty cool for the time ive been using it, which is almost all the time. even in the summer, unless the a/c wa crankin in traffic for 20 min climbed a little. i was pretty good with coolant leaks until this sudden issue i developed just 2 days ago which has me a little stumped. 6 bladed fan would be cool, maybe ebay has one let us know if the 6 blade fits maybe ill look into it for mine i use it pretty often, maybe get mine ready for summer if i plug this strange leak. thanks and good luck man.
