I hope this hasn't been asked to many times. What color/ brand of red engine paint best matches the original color for a 1969 olds 455? I have one that I am just starting to rebuild for a 68 Cutlass. Love to see the photos as well. Thanks

 

Fusick's were a good match but I see you're in Canada. DK what you'd get into shipping across the border. I know they don't ship spray paint international air.

 

1969 Hurst Olds had a red engine but other 455s were blue. The Toronado 455 was a lighter slate blue. 455s weren't put into the Cutlass except the Hurst Olds.

 

Sorry, no. Every single 425 and 455 in RWD applications was painted red through the 1969 model year. Metallic blue did not start until the 1970 model year. Toro motors were pale blue.
