1969 455 paint color

I was wondering what color the 455 blocks were for the 1969 model year, and if you could tell me where to get this paint.

I'm not sure what you are asking, especially with the rest of what you posted. From what you said, it appears that you know there were not any 455 '69 442s.

'69 455s were blue, except the H/O as you noted, and the '69 400s were bronze. Fusicks carry both.

Sorry i was in a hurry when i posted.... i was just wondering the 455 color in general for the 69 year... and what i was trying to say about the 455 is i needed some opinions on what to paint it. I know bronze is not correct, but i think it would look better in my 69 442. I will check Fusicks. thanks.

Actually, RWD 455s were red for 1968 and 1969. Even ones that might have been built in South Gate.
