I have a lead on 2 extremely low mileage Aleros.

Both are same miles, 35k, both are equally equipt, both 3400 v6 both seem rust free. here's the question....

4 door 2000 or a 2 door 2002?

Are there any more likely issues with one than the other? I know the 2 doors seem to rust in front on the rear wheel quicker than the 4 door, but the 2 door is 2 yrs newer... better refinement than the 2000?

Any opinions would be appreciated.

 

I would shoot for the 2002, not only it's a coupe, but like you said improvements were made over the years.

On the rust part, you could drill a hole in the door jamb area and spray rust proofing in the area and use a plastic push pin to fill the hole.
