Question Tail Light Grommets?

Does anyone know if the rubber grommet that plugs into the upper trunk floor is reproduced?

It appears that this grommet is a part of the tail light housing assembly, and the 4 wires from the tail light passes thru it.

Over the years, they dry out and crack.

For a 1970 442

TIA

Thanks, but those are the wrong ones.

The grommets I am looking for have 4 tail light wires going thru them.

They push into the trunk floor near the latch.

The pictures you folks sent show the grommet that has the back up light wires and gas sender wire going thru it.

I know which ones you're talking about. I looked at a spare set I have and they appear to have been molded onto the wires judging by the way the rubber is formed around the 4 wires on both sides. At any rate, when I tried pulling on the wires to see if they would move as in a loose grommet? No such luck.

Note glob on lower section. Upper grommet also has some fine join marks where the 4 wires go into the plug.

As others have stated, those grommets are part of the harness pig tail/ tail lamp assembly. I dought anybody would carry these as a seperate items.

It appears that the grommet is molded in place, capturing the wires.

My bet is GM bought the housing assembly from a vendor, thus the lack of spare grommets.

All the assemblies that I have seen have rock hard grommets from age.

I will look to see if I can find a replacememt somewhere.

Paul have you tried laquer thinner to try to soften-up the old rubber, and maybe black weatherstip adhesive to repair the tears?
