99K Holy Grail

Anytime I find a 99K Olds 442 I will post it and then ask is it really worth that much ? I know it's worth what someone is willing to pay but is it really (talking nuts and bolts )worth 99K

Here's a couple from Craigslist pa this morning a little more in my price range
The 66 is a roller for $1000

well a 4 speed W30 might just get that depending on how well it was finished. As for the other two - from what I can see they are worth the money for the sheet metal alone

To many factors... They can run anywhere from $10,000 for a simple freshen up to $150,000 for a high end Level One style restoration. Also a matter of how much you can do yourself and what you are starting with. I started with a car that was in good condition and did most of the work myself. It is not a 1000 point car but it is restored to a high level. I have between $25 and $30 in it. Very rare to do one to the level of my car for that low of a price. Just can't use the restoration price as a guide to what the final product is worth.

Much more fun than drinking the money away in my opinion. And this way I have something to show for it.

There's always working on your Olds drunk.
Nah that's a real bad idea, I made a call on that 66 will see what happens. I like that body style. Little length in the *** is never a bad thing imo
