Trim Plate Question

Hi Guys,

70-72 442 on the cowl trim plate....I know the TR code is for the interior trim. On my car it says TR 930. From Olds literature I know the "30" is black vinyl Strato Buckets, "33" would be blue vinyl, etc....but what does the "9" mean? I don't think I've ever seen any other first digit than a "9", but it must stand for something. Anybody know?

thanks,
bob

On the trim plate for your year, all of the TRim codes are in the 900s. In your case, TR 930 would be strato bucket seats and a black interior for either the sports coupe (4477) or the holiday coupe (4487).

A slight correction. The 930 code described above would be for a '70 model. For the '71 model year, it applies just to the hardtop coupe. My book says that the 930 code was not used for the '72 model year.
