Foose on Overhaulin did one close to yours with the 2 tone. Separated the 2 with a stripe. It looked nice. Not original, but it did look good.

i like the 442 stripes on the fender but you have the 442 emblem located where it belongs without the stripes if you add the stripes they will not be centered between the wheel well opening and the door edge - will look "off"
I do like the look of the white top and hood, I'd do a pin strip or something along the length of the car.

If you're asking about the vertical stripe , I say no. Well.....maybe in white to match the top half.
With the 2 tone paint job, I just don't like it on the Overhaulin Foose 442.
I do think a stripe following the fender from front bumper up to roofline is cool though.
Like this one has.
