Question Question on engine rebuild

I have a 67 442 Conv that has a 69 400 engine in it. I picked up a 67 400 bare block and a set of "C" heads. The crank shaft is missing. What do you recormend for a crank? Can I get one new? I have access to 2 diferrent 425 engines. Will the 425 cranks fit? how about the rods ect? I will eventialy be converting the car back to a 4 speed so I know I will need the end drilled for the pilot bearing.
Thanks in advance,
Gary

The 65-67 400 and 425 used the same stroke and the same crank forging, so that's the right choice for your early 400. The 68-69 400 and 455 shared the longer stroke and cast crank.
