can anyone tell me the correct length of the p/s return hose (just the rubber hose itself without the fittings) the one I got from fusick looks longer than I should be, from the pictures and orientation in the assembly manual it looks to long. any help would be appreciated

Ray - Measurement of the hose portion from an original '70 W30 looks like 14-3/4". I also have a '70 Cutlass original looking hose portion and that one is about 3/4" shorter. I'd go with the longer of the two....it's correct and the shorter you make it the more the hose is bent/stressed.

Both those are just the rubber hose portion...measured end to end on the rubber hoses.
