Well, I have been given a 75 Olds 442. Was my parents, been in the family since 1980 or so. 108xxx orginal miles, original 455 motor. Anyway it seems to be a rare year. I have not seen many 75 442s . I seen some clones online but I know for a fact this is the real deal. The car is in good shape other than under the vinyl top is rusted (a small hole or two nothing some bondo wont fix). The interior is like brand new . It has been sitting around 10 years since last driven. Cranked up a few times a year. We tried cranking it this weekend but had no luck as the fuel pump has quite. Will run while pouring gas in carb So i went this week and bought a fuel pump. But it has been raining so no chance to put it on. Plan to restore car, but will take time as it will be a project with no rush to get done. Just want to do everything right. Any info appreciated.

What model is your 442? There were 2 body styles offered; the Cutlass and Cutlass S
455 is a nice + to see in the picture, especially if it's original.

cutlass S, i think. What were the differences. And yes i will have to get some pics.

Duh on my part. Of course it would be a Cutlass S. That was the only body Olds offered the 442 package on in 1975. For some bizarre reason I was thinking of 74 when the Cutlass Colonade and Cutlass S were offered.

What kind of information were you looking for about your car?

If you have the 442 package it will have special appearance badging, hood and stripes. IIRC that 455 option also had dual exhaust.

What options do you have on your car? Maybe post a few pics so we can see it?

I will get some pics. The car is at my dads house. But i will be going over there in the next day or two, so i will snap some photos. Its got the special 442 striping, badges,hood, has body by fisher inside door, vinyl top, factory air, dual exhaust,
