Help ID rear gears
I'm hoping someone can identify these numbers of my rear diff gear. The code on the axle is S7. on my 69 442

If you divide 13 into 42 you get 3.23 If its a posi carrier, it should be #671.

It looks factory to me, but I'm not expert.

And, of course, S7 is the code for a 3.23:1 anti-spin differential with disc brakes.

Thanks guys.. That's what it was advertised to be. I had no idea that the 1st set of numbers would tell me the ratio.
I'm learning more everyday,and that isn't easy for this old fart.

I hear you Jerry, as long as we are learning more than we are forgetting, we're doing OK.

Also, if you care to know this axle has 28 splines on the shafts.

Once again Thanks Don and Randy. By the black marks left on the road It is for sure anti-spin and it does have front Disc brakes.
