help 1969 442 seat belts

I purchased a partially restored numbers matching 69 442. I am trying to identify what the correct seat belts are for the car and where can I get them. Seems like a simple request but I can’t find the answer.

Thanks for the assistance!!

Welcome. Your car could have come with either standard or deluxe belts. The photo shows standard buckles on the left and deluxe on the right. There's no way to know which was originally used unless you can find a build sheet. Lots of vendors sell repro GM belts.

All 1969 Oldsmobiles (except convertibles) had separate shoulder belts that were stored in clips above the roof rail. There were two separate female straps and buckles on the inboard side.

Your buckles may also look like this (not my picture)

Some 69's had a combination of deluxe buckles with matching color belts. They had like mini buckles on the belts. Mine (date coded originals) look like the pic I borrowed.

The belts with the mini buckles had a special retractor with a plastic capped release button colour coded to the belt. My '69 Vista had these belts.
