I am desperately seeking the molded bypass hose (thermostat to water pump) with GM part# 393508.
As I live in Europe and need the part on this Wednesday the latest (we have a rally on the weekend), can somebody please tell me, if that hose is used in other vehicles as well (maybe Jeep or Pontiac, which are more common around here) ?
With that info, I could browse "local" shops, as shipping from the States will take too long...

Washing machine rubber discharge hoses are curved like that to hook on the edges of utility sinks.
Probably too big though.
The parts stores here have the molded heater hoses hanging up with radiator hoses, lots of newer cars use them. You may find one with the right curve that could be cut to fit if they have those there?

I looked at Rockauto, they have the cross reference charts with the parts.
How about a 1990-1994 Nissan pick-up truck?

But actually none of these cars are common (or even available) in EU...

 

Around 1971 Olds had a "campaign" to replace all the aluminum water necks with J shaped bypass hoses to the iron neck, J pipe pressed in, and straight piece of hose to the water pump. Maybe you can find the later neck.
