Anyone have a replacement part number for this 1972 442 I’m working on? 350 no ac, 5.1” water pump.

having a hard time finding one.

I ordered a non-AC WP on Amazon and it’ too long...the ones listed on Rock auto don’t give the length?

Given all the well documented errors in the RockAuto on-line catalog, I wouldn't recommend using that as an authoritative guide for Olds part numbers.

Try this. Also note the difference between part number and casting number.

Short answer is P/N 388182 for non-A/C and P/N 388183 with A/C. You'll note that RA lists the same Airtex AW773 pump as an interchange for both A/C and non-A/C applications. And yes, that 388183 A/C pump is 5.1" long.

 

I have a factory correct waterpump core. PM if interested. Besides the height of waterpump also make sure outlets are the correct sizes.
