4 spoke steering wheel

Found this used OEM steering wheel for sale online. The seller states the wheel will fit Olds 442's, Cutlass, Toronado, F85, etc. from 1966-1977. Is this correct as I don't want to buy it and find out it doesn't fit my 69 442.

Thanks for your help.

I saw this yesterday and not today. I assumed it was sold as I was thinking on buying it.

The 1969-up steering columns are all the same at the upper end. It will fit any of them.

Thanks, guys. So I guess the seller was only wrong about the 66-68 models. Glad I asked!

68 is 3 spoke. I actually like the 4 spoke better and I can hear now at car shows. He has the wrong year wheel.

It can be used on 1968-earlier cars, but the steering column on those cars is smaller in diameter because the key is in the dash, and the hub of the wheel will be larger than the column. It works but looks goofy.

Well just got around to install the steering wheel. The splines in the hub don't connect/line up with the splines on the steering column as they are on opposite ends of each other. So, at least this steering wheel doesn't fit a 69 442. Ugh.

I have no idea what splines "on opposite ends" you are talking about. I have personally used that wheel on 1969 steering columns with no issues. The top end of GM columns is pretty much identical from 1969 into the early-90s. Heck, I've even got one of those wheels on a 1988 Firenza steering column.
