Have a non correct distributer now. What can be done to get this distributer to perform like the original correct numbers matching one ? Is it just changing the weights and springs along with a different vacuum module ? The one i have now i believe is from a 350 2-barrel. 1970 W-30 auto

Get the advance curve specs for the correct number distributor and send both the specs and your current distributor to a rebuilder with a distributor machine such as a Sun distributor machine.
