New member! Restoring my father-in-law original 1968 442 at the moment with all my Coronavirus downtime. I purchased the Hotchkis Total Vehicle System ("TVS") suspension with 2" drop coils. I'm considering purchasing the Year One Super Stock SSII Staggered size cast aluminum wheel kit with 17X8" / 245X45R17s front and 17X9" / 275X40R17s rear.

Has anyone installed 2" drop coils in the rear and had any issue with 275s (10.83" wide) tires in the rear? Also does anyone know of a high torque starter that works with the manual transmission? Looks like there a bolt on the left side fo the starter that connects to the starter motor housing from the clutch??

 

Do you know the offset of the wheels? I have 2 inch lowering springs with a 295 tire with no issues.

 

Think its 40 mm for the 17 X 9s..
