1947 78 Dynamic Cruiser
Hello all. This is a new adventure for me. I own 2 70s and 2 66s, but I have been looking for a straight 8 fastback olds and I finally found one. I have lots to learn about them, but here is my car as it sits now. The car was parked because the rear end blew up and was used as a billboard for a restaurant in California until the 80s. Someone brought it up to Illinois and it changed a few hands and then I dragged it up to Wisconsin. Interior needs to be redone, but the car is incredibly clean and currently runs, drives, shifts and stops. Missing a radio and air cleaner. If anyone has any parts please let me know. I'm also wondering which carburetor should have come on the 70 series 8 cylinder. The wcd or the whole. Car currently has a wdo.

Neat car, couldn't comment on the carb, my fat-fendered Olds got a 455 swap in it because the old engine was siezed so didn't pay attention to it. Seeing your's brings back memories though.

I just read a post by another member who is selling off parts from a '48 model 98. You might check with him if you need anything, there may be some similarities, especially in the engine.
