Torsion bar adjustment

Have not found any reference to this in the manuals: I know there are adjustable torsion bar keys for other GM applications.
Have any of you had to adjust the torsion bars?
How is it done?
TIA,
David

Hey David

There is a torsion bar nut/key on a crossmember in the middle of the car. Follow the torsion bars to the nuts and each one will have an adjustment bolt. Thats it. Thats all i know. LOL Good luck with it.

Did it several times on my Toronado. Large bolt screws in or out for up and down. Very simple arrangement.

Do not adjust them with the weight on the car wheels. Adust each side evenly with the car in the air, then lower and check.

I was looking for the adjustment at the forward end of the torsion bars because there was a pile of crap under the car that mad it tough to get to the middle of the car, I spent some time last weekend cleaning and rearranging; slid under on the creeper and found the adjusters
