Question WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE

I am new to this site and was turned on to it by another olds junkie and member. I am really hoping someone out there can help me. I am looking for the impossible it seems and will pay dearly for it. Here we go, I need an original 69 H/O RAM AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY. I know, HA HA HA GOOD LUCK. however I'm still remaining hopeful. PLEASE HELP. THANKS, MIKE

The 68/69 W breathers are not that rare and often are on ebay. The 69 H/O breather is another story!

I am not too versed on 69 H/O but didn't Ford make the flapper assembly on some H/O cars? You might be able to find a Ford assembly for sale that is the same just to broaden your search.

Be sure to take out a second mortgage on your home if you deal with him.

Thanks to All

I have worked out a deal with Ron Memmer for a 69 H/O air cleaner assembly. Thanks for all of the advice from EVERYONE especially Eric.

In response to Scrappie. The vacuum actuator motor was a slightly modified version (vacuum Connection area) of the 69 Cobra Jet in the Mustang and Torino GT. It did bare the FoMoCo name on the motor, So it was supplied by Ford. As for the Flapper door it was also a piece that was borrowed for Ford as Well as AMC. The SC Scrambler has the same flapper door and vacuum motor but it was mounted to the hood instead of the air cleaner assembly. If anyone needs an NOS or Repro Vac Actuator they can be obtained from Mansfield Restoration Parts. 1-508-339-5409. Hope This info is helpful to other 69 H/O owners.
