A diamond in the rough at the Cleveland Auto Show!
Not sure if anyone else went, but I was there on Sunday, the last day of the show. I spotted this thing from a hundred feet away and immediately ran through crowds of people to see it. I can't explain how truly beautiful this car was. (Plus, the color is just perfect ) Now, since I'm not exactly "all-knowing" on originality, I can't say this for sure. The thermostat housing was blue, and the intake was uncolored, possibly aluminum? But the car was immaculate... it looked like a perfect restoration or all original. Original radio, seats, console...it was great. Unfortunately, the owner wasn't around. But I left a note near the car with my # and email, hoping he'd have some parts. No contact as of yet. Enjoy!
Also, I was wondering about some things. The hood was a standard flat one, but it had a chrome detail down the center, much like the one that's on the side of the '72 doors. The vinyl stopped short of the windshield about 2 inches all the way around on the roof as well. Are these year-specific things, or just something specific to the SX models? I just LOVED this car...haha!

The '70 Cultass Supreme did have the chrome hood spear, no other models or years('70-'72) had it. Also it is flat & doesn't have the 2 humps like the S or standard 442 hood. The "halo" vinyl top is '70 & '71 Cutlass Supreme only & looks very good in my opinion. Looks like a really nice car!

As packrat said, that's called a halo. Sometimes you can have the full halo, or the half halo, where it goes to the windshield, but not the drip rails (there may not have been an Olds with that type, though.)

Never saw that particular SX before - it's the hardtop twin to my convertible, but that one is a lot nicer (for now).
Scott got the hood and halo top details correct. The blue thermostat housing is correct, an aluminum intake would be an add-on (they probably replaced the L33's 2 barrel with a 4 barrel.)
