Tried some POR-15

Was looking at coating my frame in POR-15 and figured I should try a sample piece before I dive in to make sure I like the results. Bought a sample kit and pulled my front bumper mounts. Gave it a shot this weekend and am amazed! Went on smoothly, although some dripped on my painted concrete floor and in trying to remove the stuff, if took the paint with it. I smacked the mounts with a hammer today to see it this stuff really holds up like they claim. It straight up dented my mounts and did not chip the coating at all!! This stuff is the shiz nit!

Hopefully you did not mind a bent bumper mount...

I used the semigloss black POR15 on my convertible rear qtr access plates.
The next day I chunked a 3/8" ratchet extension at the back side to see how it would hold up - not a scratch!

POR 15 is the best! I wish they made water based paint so I could paint my house with it!

And he wasn't even mad. You should see what happens when he gets upset.

Rob I think maybe you should have POR 15'd your IPOD,

I shoulda chunked the ipod against a POR15-painted surface instead of the brick wall for the sake of research...
