Energy susp. body mount bushings

Guys im looking for anyone with experience using this kit from energy. I assembled the bushings as per the instructions. I also used my old bushings as reference. My issue is today I went to go pry up on the body from the frame and I have vertical movement. is this normal ? Did I not tighten it enough with my impact gun ? I installed the washer sleeve up top how my factory bushings where then I used the big washer and the little bushing underneath but when I tightened it up it just squeezed out. I cant imagine this movement being normal but this is also my first time doing body bushings so go figure lol. I was thinking of cutting up some pipe into .5 sections incase the bolt wasn't squishing the bushing enough so I could get more positive compression from the bushing . This is all new to me but I still have time to address this since the car is still apart.
