difference 455 1970 and 1971
hello,
the olds engine is new for me and therefore if some questions.
what is the difference between the 1970 and 1971 455 engine? just the heads or more (crankshaft...)?
in the books i saw they have the same amount of hp, just the torque is higher on the 70s. is there not a big difference on these two engines? or how much they realy have. im happy to get some information and help .
thanks rainer

by the way, my engine is from a 1971 olds 98. is this engine a nice or not? should i prefer a 70, whats the benefit of both? sorry but im a mopar and chevy guy and a olsmobile virgin.
and one more question: the engine runs great but what would you do? i think whats always helps is a high volume oil pump, bigger oil pan. anything else?
