SSIII 14X7 snap on center cap wheels

Over the years I've come across a lot of the SSIII wheels. I always thought the 14" snap on centers only came in 6 " widths. But I came across a couple that had 235 width tires on them and looked wider than 6" Yesterday I was moving some clutter around and paused to look at one of these. It has stamped in the back 14X7. Does anyone know what years the 14X7 snap on center caps wheels were made?

John, not sure exactly what year they started (probably around 75 at a guess) but they were on my 78 Cutlass Calais from the factory 14X7"s.

There were probably more 14x7s made with snap-on centers than 14x6s. Snap on centers were first used in the 1975 model year and 14x7s were available from that point on.

Thanks guys! I guess I've been coming across much newer wheels than I thought!
