I have an opportunity to purchase some like new Chrome American raching Torq thrust 2 rims w/ tires for a very good price. The size are: Front: 245 /45r17 Back 275/40r17 .. Will these fit my 71 Cutlass

 

Depends on the bolt pattern. Some are 4.5 others are 4.75 So in a nutshell you have to find out that info. The tire size on the front should be fine, don't know about the rears though; you might need to have some offset there.

 

Besides bolt pattern you'll need to get the offset to get an educated opinion if they'll vlear or not.

 

The buyer said that the tires sold this morning so, I'm only looking at purchasing the rims which has a bolt pattern of 5x4.75.. I'm awaiting the info on the offset. What should I be looking for in terms of offset numbers?

 

Depends on the width of the wheel.
