I am going to put Coys C5 wheels on my '62 Starfire. I am wanting to go with 17x8 in the front with either 4 or 4.5" backspacing and 18x9.5 in the rear with either 5 or 5.5" backspacing. Does anyone know if these will fit?

Have you tried to contact the manufacturer? They probably have information on what their wheels fit. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if they would fit.

 

I have contacted Coys, they are speculating they will fit but my local guy who is gonna mount them is not so sure.

 

Hmm... does Coys have a warranty stating you can return the wheels if they don't fit. Maybe your local wheel shop has wheels in stock in that size in a different style that they can test fit to be sure.

 

If I was guessing I would say yes to the 4.5 front and 5.5 in the back but you need to measure to be sure.

 

I am not sure about Coys warranty...but I did ask the guy at my local place if they had a similar wheel that I could try and they don't.
