Anyone use trim rings on wheel vintiques ss1 rims ? If so what trim rings did you use, I have 15x7 wheels on front and 15x8 on rear.

 

I think this would look great. Only issue is you will scratch up the chrome on the wheel installing them so it is kinda a lifetime commitment.

 

I took my WV wheels off, they would not balance. I put American Racing (made in China)17 inch SS1's on it, looks great, much smoother now.

Also wanting to install trim rings on my Vintique wheels to make them look like 1970 SS-1 wheels. 15x7 and 15x8 wheels. Any suggestions as to which trim rings to use?

 

You might have trouble keeping the trim rings on with the chrome plating. There's not much bite for the trim rings to grab onto. The chrome is harder than painted steel.
Might need to find the trim rings that bite on to the bead.
