1972 Olds 98
I'm about to buy a nice resto project and am a big "muscle car" fan. Obviously, an Olds 98 ain't gonna win any drag races, but with that Rocket 455 and some nice exhaust pipes ...she'll cruise wonderfully I'm sure. My question is: What kind of wheel/tire combos and I fit in there to give it a beef'ier stance? I believe this comes with 15" stock wheels - I'd love to get some kind of ...Crager SS (or maybe not that Loud) or something sportier and put ...275/60/15 BF Goodrich raised white letters on it. Maybe 50s if they'll fit.
Any thoughts? Thank you!!!

oh man, I wish. I’m in Mass. Can you share some pics tho? I have a friend outside Philly - maybe I get him to grab em and I connect with him. How much?

Hiw big a tire did you get on them? I know it’s bad practice but I might throw 50s in back and 60s up front. Don’t think I’m gettin 50s up front and making any turns.

Stop focusing on 50 or 60 series and worry about total outside diameter and section width. 295/50-15s are 1.5" SMALLER in diameter than 275/60-15s (26.6" vs 28"). I'd go with the 275/60-15s on the back and 235/70-15s on the front. Those two sizes are nearly the same overall diameter. Much wider in the front sill likely cause rubbing on turns.
