Is it worth fixing?

I have a guy trying to sell me a set of chrome 15" 442 wheels. Asking $140 for the set, but one rim is bent. Is this rim even worth fixing and anyone have an idea of the cost involved?

It is hard to tell from the pics, but back in my days as a tire man I have "fixed" rims that looked worse than that. The kicker is the "wheel" or center. If that is still straight, you should be able to beat the "rim" back to a point that it will hold air, and balance out. It will never be what it was, but should function. The trim ring will cover the evidence of the repair. Again this is coming from a low res pic, so no guarantees but looks like it could be done. if nothing else get another and keep it as a spare.

I just noticed the part about the chrome, not sure about that. you might be able to do something with it, but for the price... I've seen people asking a lot more for a lot less.

I can't tell from the pic. Is it a snap on or bolt on center cap?

!5" bolt on center cap wheels are worth more than 15 " snap on center caps.

I think they are the snap on center caps. It was evening when I looked and took the pic on Friday. I am going back out today to take look in the daylight. I might just scoop them up, since i won some extra money on the BCS game...lol. My current wheels are 15" and in good condition, so there is no need to make a keep or sell decision immediately should I get the 442 wheels. Either way, these are a temporary stop until i get my aftermarket wheels.

I was able to get them for $120; $30 bucks a wheel wasnt too bad. They are snap on caps, so finding some shouldnt be to hard. I'm gonna remove the tires and clean them up to see what I'm working with.
